Terms and Conditions

  1. Quoine Pte Ltd ( “Quoine”) reserves the right to cancel or amend the Valentine’s Day Campaign (the “Campaign”) or these terms and conditions at our sole discretion.
  2. During the period from 14 February 2019 00:00 AM GMT+8 to 20 February 2019 23:59 PM GMT+8 (the “Campaign Period’), Liquid users who have a live, KYC-verified trading account on Liquid (“Participants”) automatically will be eligible to take part in the Campaign, subject to these terms and conditions. Residents of Japan are not allowed to participate in this Campaign.
  3. By participating in the Campaign, each Participant represents that he or she has read, understood and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions of entry and agrees to be legally bound by these terms and conditions and decisions of Quoine without limitation or qualification.
  4. To receive the bonus amounts, Participants must possess a live, KYC-verified trading account with Liquid.
  5. Quoine reserves the sole and absolute right to disqualify or reject any Participant that Quoine determines is ineligible for the Campaign for any reason, including without limitation under these terms and conditions or by reason of having engaged in a conduct that Quoine considers inappropriate or unacceptable.
  6. The Campaign mechanics are as follows:                                    A prize of USD 50 equivalent in QASH (based on the QASH/USD exchange rate at 00:00 AM GMT+8) on the 21st of February during the term of the Campaign will be given to 10 winners chosen at random who have taken the following steps:
    a. Follow the Quoine Twitter account (https://twitter.com/liquid_global)
    b. Tag their friends using relevant hashtags.
    c. Complete this form
  7. The Twitter aspect of the campaign is only applicable to Twitter users with more than 100 genuine, organically received followers, determined in Quoine’s sole discretion. Twitter accounts will be reviewed by Quoine and spam accounts will not be accepted. 
  8. A ‘Referrer’ herein is defined as a current Liquid user who refers another person.
  9. For every successful referral made by a Referrer, the Referrer will receive the equivalent of USD20 in QASH for every new signup via the referral link (the ‘Referral Fee’). The Referral Fee will be paid out in QASH tokens to the Participant’s Liquid account.   
  10. For every successful referral made by a Referee, the Referee will receive the equivalent of USD20 in QASH for every new signup via the referral link (the ‘Referee Fee’). The Referral Fee will be paid out in QASH to the Participant’s Liquid account.  
  11. To be considered a successful referral, Participants must successfully pass Liquid’s KYC screening procedures by the 21st of March 2019, 00:00 AM GMT+8
  12. Quoine will calculate the Referral Fee value at the end of Campaign Period for each Participant and promptly airdrop the Referral Fee to the Participant’s account by the 7th of April 2019.
  13. Quoine’s staff may not participate in this Campaign and will be ineligible to receive bonus amounts.
  14. Winners of any QASH rewards will be emailed by the 29th of March 2019. An email confirmation will be sent to all bonus recipients to complete the distribution of the applicable bonus amounts.
  15. Quoine’s decisions in any matter in relation to the Campaign are final and conclusive. Any request for appeal or review will not be entertained.
  16. Quoine does not take any responsibility for any circumstance which may prevent a Participant from participating in the Campaign as a result of technical restrictions, issues or other limitations such as force majeure, which include but are not limited to regulatory considerations, government directives and government intervention of whatsoever nature.
  17. Quoine in its sole discretion may disqualify you or any particular retweet made by you from the Valentine’s Day Campaign if Quoine has requested that you delete or edit the content of any particular retweet and you fail to do so.
  18. Rewards will be distributed in 2 batches. The first rewards distribution will be distributed by the 10th of March 2019 and the second rewards distribution will be distributed by 7th of April 2019.
  19. All rewards will be funded in QASH and credited to users’ Liquid accounts by the 7th of April 2019.
  20. Participation in the Liquid Valentine’s Day campaign is subject in all respects to the Liquid Terms of Use governing the use of Liquid, and nothing in these Valentine’s Day terms and conditions shall limit or otherwise have any effect on the Liquid Terms of Use.
  21. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Singapore and all disputes arising in connection with these terms and conditions or the Campaign are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
