We are aware that a number of customers have reported receiving a failed login attempt email within the last 24 hours. Here’s what you should be aware of and what you can do to keep your account safe and secure.
Firstly, please understand that the email is informational only, it is advising that someone has attempted to access your account probably by guessing your password but not that your account has actually been compromised.
Accounts on Liquid have multiple layers of security:
Your password is the first line of defense
You can and should ensure that 2FA (two-factor authentication) is enabled
Access to your account needs to come from a whitelisted IP address; whitelisting requests are sent to your registered email address
If you use a strong unique password, ensure that 2FA is enabled and keep your own private email account secure, you are safe.
Can I check my login history?
Absolutely, yes you can. Simply login to your account on liquid.com and visit your profile page. Under the Security tab, you will see an option to view your Login History.
