Great news! Liquid now supports SGD deposits and withdrawals via StraitsX which allow faster and simpler transactions with low transfer fees.

Who can use StraitsX on Liquid?

Liquid users who reside in Singapore and have all three:

  • Residence-based ID documents issued by the Government of Singapore;

  • A Singapore phone number; and

  • A Singapore bank account (FAST network).


The deposit process is simple and fee-free, please follow the steps below:

  1. Choose StraitsX as your Deposit Method

  2. Connect your StraitsX account to your Liquid account

  3. Transfer to StraitsX via FAST

  4. View the credited deposit in your Liquid account


1. Choose StraitsX as your Deposit Method

Navigate to https://app.liquid.com/vision and login to your Liquid account. Click ‘Deposits’ at the top right corner of your screen and search for SGD in ‘Currencies’. Then, select StraitsX.

2. Connect your StraitsX account to your Liquid account

2.1. You will need to create and verify your StraitsX account if this is your first time using StraitsX. If you already have a StraitX account, please link it to Liquid.

2.1.1. To create and verify your StraitsX account, click ‘Get Started’.

2.1.2. Type in your phone number that is registered to your StraitsX account. Click ‘Next’.

2.1.3. Input the OTP (One-Time-Password) we sent via SMS to your phone number, then click ‘Confirm’.

2.2.1. Click ‘Register your bank account’.

2.2.2. Fill in your bank details:

  • Bank Name: Choose your bank in the drop-down menu.

  • Bank Branch: Type in your bank branch.

  • Account Holder Name: Type in your name as the owner of the bank account.

  • Bank Account Number: Type in the full number of your bank account.

  • Bank Statement: Upload a bank-issued statement that is no older than 3 months and contains at least the bank name, account name, and account holder. Electronic/digital statements are accepted. PDF format is preferred.

  • Joint Account: If your bank account is co-owned by another person, please tick the Joint Account checkbox to provide this person's ID document.

2.2.3. Check if all the details are correct and click ‘Register your bank account’.

2.2.4. Your bank account is now registered. Click ‘Continue’ to proceed depositing using StraitsX.

Note: Your bank account will remain in Pending state until you deposit SGD for the very first time. Please proceed to Step 3 below to do so.

3. Transfer to StraitsX via FAST

3.1. Click ‘Your Bank Accounts’ and choose the correct bank account where your funds will be coming from.

You can view all of the bank accounts that have been linked with StraitsX/Xfers before and its status.

  • Your status will update to 'Confirmed' once you make your first deposit

3.2. Copy the bank information shown in the Transfer to StraitsX field and make a transfer from your bank account.

3.3. Login to the FAST i-banking account of your bank where the funds will be coming from.

  • Add a recipient by typing in or pasting the bank information provided in the Transfer to StraitsX field (refer to step 3.2).

  • To make the transfer, select the recipient that matches the bank details shown in the Transfer to StraitsX field.

4. View the credited deposit in your Liquid account

That’s it! You can view the deposit on your Liquid account in a few minutes, when we receive the notification of a successful FAST transfer to StraitsX.

Important Notes:

  • It may take up to 48 hours to complete a first-time transfer if it needs to be reviewed by StraitsX.

  • You can deposit multiple times per day as long as each transaction is within the minimum and the maximum limits, 5 SGD and 20,000 SGD respectively.
