Upon successful registration on Liquid Pro, you will be prompted to enable 2-factor authentication (2FA) for your account.

What is 2FA?

2FA is an additional layer of security for your Liquid account to ensure that you're the only person who can access your account.

How does it work?

When logging in to Liquid using the web portal, you'll need to provide:

  • Login credentials (email address + password)

  • 2FA code (provided by your chosen 2FA device)

How to set up 2fa on Liquid Pro App

If you have not enabled 2FA, the app will redirect you to this screen upon logging in. Tap Get Started.

2FA on Liquid works using Google Authenticator. This app helps generates 2FA codes on your phone.

Install the Google Authenticator app on your chosen device, then tap I have Google Authenticator. Next →.

Follow the on-screen instructions and back up your secret code. This code is used to set up 2FA for your Liquid account and is displayed once only.

By backing up the code, you can set up 2FA again later on other devices of your choosing.

Once you do that, tap I've backed up the key. Next →.

Here you will be asked to enter the secret code (secret key) into Google Authenticator.

Tap Open App to open Google Authenticator on your phone.

Tap OK to confirm.

Google Authenticator will now have created a 2FA code generator for your Liquid account. This code changes every 30 seconds for security reasons.

Copy and paste the generated code to the Liquid Pro app.

Tap Enable to complete 2FA setup.
